AS a sculpture to honour their mother's memory was unveiled yesterday at Kensington Palace Gardens, Prince William and Prince Harry were preparing to attend a special memorial service today to mark the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death in a car crash in Paris.
The installation - of golden dandelions - was designed by Sofie Layton and inspired by dandelion-seed clocks, reminders of missed loved ones. But today's televised service in the Guards' Chapel at Wellington Barracks in London has been overshadowed by disagreements over the guest list and the late decision by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, not to accompany her husband Prince Charles to the ceremony after criticism that it was inappropriate for her to attend.
