Nine stages set for marathon Live Earth bash

From the superstars at the top of the charts such as Madonna and The Police, to a small amateur band of scientists in the Antarctic, every artist involved in Live Earth serves up a musical message about global warming. The band of music-loving research scientists will make history this weekend during Live Earth's global telecast.Nunatak will perform two songs from a research station in the middle of the Antarctic peninsula, making them the first musical group to play a live show on the continent. They may only attract 17 people to their live outdoor concert - only 22 scientists are there at present researching climate change and evolutional biology on the peninsula. Yet 2 billion people will see them sing via TV and the Internet.
